1. What does “All-inclusive Mean”?
Answer: Generally speaking, “All-inclusive” means, that you pay one up-front price that includes: Tips and hotel taxes at the resort, transfers to and from the resort, your room, three meals per day, beverages (including alcoholic drinks), beach towels and lounge chairs, entertainment and some activities. However some resorts are “More inclusive” and may include 24-hour room service, laundry service, water skiing, etc. Some resorts may be “Less Inclusive” with just the meals and non-alcoholic beverages included with just a few activities. Every resort has some optional, extra cost items available! No resort that we know of includes everything! Check the resort brochures and their websites for what is included. If you don’t specifically see what you want listed as “Included”, most likely, it’s not included and or it’s an optional extra. Spa services, motorized watersports like Jet-skis and Parasailing are usually not included. Some resorts may have optional wine list, optional dining extras, and optional golf packages, upgrade packages and more. Check out the details, (read very closely to see if it is “available” or “included”) and ask you travel agent. If you don’t see it in writing it probably is not included!

2. How much does an all-inclusive cost?
Answer:
Prices vary greatly depending on the resort selected, room category selected, location, and any special incentives offered. As a general rule, an all inclusive resort pricing averages $125 to over $1000 per day per person. A good value all-inclusive is usually at $200 or more per day per person. For example, a five day resort trip for a couple could be priced at $2000 not including any specials or incentives offered by the resorts, airlines, or other entities. Remember that we have specials that will keep your cost down, but a good all-inclusive property will never be free!

3. Why don’t you list every “all-inclusive resort?”
Answer: We are working on listing more resorts every day. Many resorts that are not listed are because we have not been there yet! However there are also a lot of resorts that we choose not to list because they didn’t meet our standards. If you have been to a good all-inclusive resort that you believe we should include. Use our Contact Us form to forward your suggestion to us.   We will review your choice and determine it’s suitability for our website.

4. Will I be Safe?
Answer: While no area in the world is free from crime, all of the all-inclusive resorts have security to protect their clients and to keep out the people who don’t belong at the resort. Most of the clientele at an upscale resort have no interest in stealing your belongings or harming you. Using some “Common sense” while traveling will keep you as safe as if you were in your hometown. At the resort, leave your valuables in your safe in the room (You don’t need to spend money for most activities, so why would you need to take cash or your wallet to the beach or pool?). The vast majority of the feedback we get from our clients is that; “we had so much fun doing the things that were included that we didn’t need to spend money on anything else.” Should you decide to make a purchase of an optional item, your room is only a short distance away! If you go off of the resort property, the major tourist areas of any destination are usually well protected by local police. Use the resort’s “Tour Desk” to book your off-site adventures. It’s those “Out-of-the-way”, down the dark alley places, that should be avoided. Again, “Common sense” will usually tell you where not to go.

5. What else is there to do while at the resort?
Answer: Every destination has many offerings “off of the resort property” and available through their “Tour Desk”. Anything from rain forest tours to shopping tours and day cruises are available at additional cost. The tour desk at each resort has trained personnel who can show you pictures/videos of many of the most popular tourist attractions available near their resort. The tours they offer have been chosen for their value to you, their client. (The price the tour operator at the hotel charges is usually within a few dollars of what you would pay if you were to “shop around”. More importantly, the vendors they use have a responsibility to the resort to provide a good experience or they will loose the resorts referral business.)

7. How do I get the best price?
Answer: The best way is to call us toll free. We will need to know the exact dates you want to travel, the number of adults and children traveling and the children’s ages, the resort you want to go to, and the city you want to fly from. We give you our best price on our first call. We don’t “jerk you around” We make a fair profit and as a result, we are able to service your needs if you have a problem.

8. Is there a discount for booking multiple rooms?
Answer: Yes. We are discount specialist. You will find that our pricing for one or more rooms is based on “our” volume. Small groups of less than 20 rooms are our specialty. If you have a large group of 20 or more rooms, and you are looking to travel during the peak season you should start making arrangements 9-months to 2-years in advance!

9. What are the payment requirements?
Answer: Depending on the trip and the package offered, the normal payment requirement is $100-$400 down per person with the final payment due 60 days before departure. Some Holiday trips require much larger deposits or full payment at time of booking. Check with your agent. Most clients pay with a credit card, however we also accept checks (if booked early enough), money orders, and cash. We also take payments!

10. How do I book my trip?
Answer:  Just call us toll free and we will do 90 % of the work. We will walk you through the process each step of the way.

11. What are the cancellation or change fees?
Answer: Cancellation fees and “change the booking” fees will vary from the different vendors we use. For some Holiday trips and or special sales, the cancellation fee may be 100% of what you have paid. However most trips have a $50.00 cancellation fee more than 60 days before travel, 59-30 days $200 per person, 30-15 days 50% of the total cost, 14 days or less 100% forfeiture. We highly recommend travel insurance. Check with the agent for the exact details of the trip you are purchasing and what travel insurance covers.

12. How much extra money do I need to bring with me?
Answer: At the resort you will need little or no money at all! At the better all-inclusive resorts, just about everything is included.  Tipping is not allowed at many properties. We have many clients that have told us that they have spent less than 50 dollars during a whole week! Other clients want to do everything and have spent several hundred dollars per person, excluding souvenirs. The tour desk at the resort will generally not bargain their prices, but the private vendors will often bargain.

Some of the activities that are "usually not included", that some people like to do are (Remember to bargain!): Jet Skiing ...usually $40-$60 dollars per half hour. Para-sailing $60-$90 dollars a ride. Catamaran cruises $35-$90 dollars depending on the trip. Scenic tours around the island $30-$50 dollars half day and double that for a full day. Souvenirs could range from a dollar for a nick-nack to ten thousand dollars for a Rolex watch.

When dealing with the vendors on the beach, craft markets or tourist shopping centers, you should bargain! You usually don't have to pay what they ask...even in the jewelry stores. Never pay what they ask at the craft markets. It is a custom to bargain with the locals for a price on just about everything. Always be polite, smile, and have some fun! The locals are experts at negotiating and you can get some great deals. Don't be afraid to walk away. Just say "Thank You! I'll look some more", and start walking. They may come back to you with a better price. If you pay a dollar or two over what you might have bargained, remember that these folks probably only earn, after expenses, less than 100 dollars a week! (Please don't be belligerent. It's not fun for you, them, or anyone else. Remember you represent your country when visiting foreign nations! Even if you pay a little too much, you will have a lasting memory to bring home.) For duty free items a great price to pay is typically 60-75 percent of the price you would pay stateside. (Any duty-free item other than liquor that is only 25 percent of what you would pay stateside is probably a fake!)

Back to Questions

13. Is there extra cost for some meals and or some drinks?
Answer: At some resorts everything you see is included, and at some resorts, there are additional cost. Generally speaking some resorts offer “expensive wine” or “Special dining rooms or special meals” at additional cost. Read the details on the website and/or brochures of the package you are planning to purchase and ask questions.

Back to Questions

14. Do I get a discount if I don’t drink alcoholic beverages?
Answer: No. The reality is that the client who spends the whole day at the bar cost the resort very little money in real dollars. The raw cost of alcohol in duty free destinations is not very expensive. All exotic alcoholic drinks are available without the alcohol. (Example “Virgin Piná Colada” is made without the Rum). The client who does not drink alcohol is more likely to use more of the resorts activities and services, which cost the resort more to provide than alcohol. (No, they don’t charge less if you do drink!)

15. What about all the other questions I have?
Answer: Please read the detailed information pages about the resort first! Second read the questions and answers on this page. Then call us with any additional questions. As you can see, there is a lot of detail to book a truly great vacation value. Our agents will be happy to answer your questions and help you to select the perfect trip for your needs and budget. We are open 7- days a week ready to answer your questions or help you with your needs. We do all of this and give you the best prices anywhere!

Back to Questions

16. How do I get a brochure?
Answer: The fastest way to get the information you want it to print out the website. (It takes some resorts weeks to mail the information to you.) Do you really want a brochure? For most resorts, their brochures have less information than there is on the Internet. However, if you still want a brochure, call the resort directly. We do not send brochures as it is very cost prohibitive. (See why we cost less than other’s above.)
