Your Wedding, What You Should Know
Your wedding is meant to be one of the most memorable days of your life. At Rendezvous, The Romantic Holiday, we want to help you achieve this dream, but we need your help. The information contained in this fact sheet is designed to provide you with all the information that we will need to assist us in planning your dream wedding. Please ensure that you read through the following and carry all necessary documents with you.
We understand the significance of your wedding day. This is why we hold no more than 3 weddings a day so as to provide this atmosphere of individuality. All the weddings are performed at least two hours apart to ensure that every couple gets the special attention they deserve!
We kindly ask that you submit your preferred date and time for your wedding when booking your holiday. It is also a good idea to give some alternatives dates in case your first choice is not available. Once you have booked your holiday, we advise that you contact our Wedding Specialist so that we can begin to plan your romantic dream wedding …and honeymoon!

Residency
Wedding couples are required to be resident in Saint Lucia for a minimum of three working days (Monday - Friday) prior to the day of the ceremony.
Documents Needed
- Passports (Valid For Minimum Of Six Months)
- Birth Certificate
- Previous Marriage Certificate (If Widowed)
- Death Certificate (If Widowed)
- Deed Poll Certificate (If Your Name Has Been Changed)
- Decree Absolute (If Divorced)
- Parental Consent (If Under 18 Years Old) By Way Of Affidavit From A Notary Public
All legal documents should be brought to the resort to ensure a smooth legal process. If the documents are in a foreign language then we will require an authorized English translation (these can normally be obtained from the relevant Consulate Embassy or alternatively some Government records departments may be able to provide translations).
You are required to BRING ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS WITH YOU. Only original or certified documents will be accepted. Final Decree Absolutes are the only accepted proof of divorce. If there are any name discrepancies between documents, Statutory Declarations or Deed Poll Certificates must accompany them.
Upon Arrival In Saint Lucia
You will be welcomed to the most beautiful island in the Caribbean by lush green mountains and friendly St. Lucians. When you arrive at Rendezvous a letter from our Wedding Specialist arranging a meeting will be presented to you. This meeting will allow you to review the details of your wedding with her and ensure that you have brought along all the appropriate original documents. We usually need to hold on to these documents until the day after the wedding ceremony.
Location - Rendezvous is surrounded by the most beautiful tropical gardens on the island. There are many ideal spots on our grounds to perform your wedding ceremony. Alternatively, you may want to tie the knot on the beach, bare feet if you wish, or any location within the resort grounds (must be on dry land).
Witnesses - Two persons are required to witness the ceremony; you may choose from friends you make at the resort, members of our staff and of course, family or friends who are traveling with you.
Transporting Wedding Attire
Many airlines allow wedding dresses to be hung in the aircraft cabin providing they are in a suitable garment holder. Please check with your travel agent or airline.
Optional Extras
Your romantic wedding is not complete without the added extra touches and we pride ourselves in going all the way if you will let us. We can arrange a wide variety of additional services from photographs and video to flowers and cakes or even a steel band for a hint of true Caribbean flavor. If you'd rather the saxophone, just tell us, we want this to be the wedding of your dreams!

Non Resident Guest Info
We do allow non-resident guests to join wedding parties upon the purchase of one of our day passes described below. We also welcome children from the age of ten to fourteen who wish to attend the wedding ceremony free of charge, but unfortunately they will not be able to join the wedding party for dinner or make use of the resorts facilities, as we are strictly an adult hotel.
Morning Pass
Includes, breakfast, use of resort facilities and drinks until noon.

Day Pass
Includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks, use of resort facilities
until 6:00pm.

Half Day Pass
Includes lunch, afternoon tea and drinks, use of resort facilities from noon
