Named for the ancient Mayan world for 'Little Inlet', Xcaret was one of the
cultures most important ports and a revered ceremonial center. Immerse your self
in tradition, nature, wonder, adventure and beauty in one of the world's most
unique and friendly parks.
The park offers several optional activities for you to enjoy. The six programs
with dolphins are aimed at both adults and children. Snorkel and dive tours are
available for beginners and advanced swimmers. The whole family can stroll along
the bottom of the sea with Seatrek, and snuba is the new sport that allows you
to scuba dive with the freedom from snorkeling. The horseback riding tours allow
you to enter the tropical jungle and reach isolated beaches as well.

- Wild Bird Breeding Aviary with over 37 species. Around 30 macaws are born here
each year.
- Sea turtle conservation programs, concurrent with government agencies, mark up
to 20,000 baby turtles every year and assist as many as 220,000 to the water's
edge.
- The Botanical Garden has 118,000 plants.
- The Butterfly Pavilion is one of the largest in the world with 4,000
butterflies born each month.
- Nine groups of archaeological vestiges.

Mayan Village River
Glide under cascading waterfalls and between a bamboo forest; and drift through
a Mayan Village where artisans weave, carve and paint, and discover the
magnificent stained-glass Plaza.
Underground River
Clear and cool, the underground river flows through caverns illuminated by
natural skylights, under limestone walls and beautiful fossilized coral
formations are that are embedded. The river It surrounds the open-air theater,
and occasionally emerges in the midst of deep jungle green.
Night Show
Xcaret's spectacular night show is an experience for all visitors: an epic
celebration with the sights and sounds of a grand festival, set in Mexico's
golden years and the mysticism of ancient Mayan Kings. It features a colorful
fair, the drama of the Pre-Hispanic Ballgame, and the Ball of Fire in the
impressive Tlachco ball-court. This is followed by an unforgettable gala
performance of Mexico's regional music and dance. Over 200 performers create an
incredible pageantry of color, sight and sound!
